Pelton Youth Project – BBC Children in Need funded Detached Youth Work Sessions
Pelton Youth Project has secured funding from BBC Children in Need to deliver Detached Youth Work sessions across Pelton, Ouston, and the surrounding areas over the next three years.

The project will focus on making positive contact with local young people and developing trusted relationships with them. We aim to establish core groups of young people with whom we can then provide engaging programmes, activities and opportunities that respond to their interests and needs.
The detached approach will allow our Youth Workers to meet young people in their own space, helping us to engage with those who may not currently access more traditional youth provision.
Current session plans are:
Monday: Pelton and the surrounding areas (6 pm – 8 pm)
Wednesday: Ouston and the surrounding areas (6 pm – 8 pm)
