Pelton Youth Project – BBC Children in Need funded Detached Youth Work Sessions
Pelton Youth Project has secured funding from BBC Children in Need to deliver Detached Youth Work sessions across Pelton, Ouston, and the surrounding areas over the next three years.

Dear Residents, Durham County Council is preparing a new County Durham Plan, which will guide development and investment across the County over the coming years. DCC are now inviting your views as part of the Scoping Consultation, running from 22 June to 17 August 2026.

This year we will hold our 2026 Remembrance Sunday Service on 8th November. It will take place at Ouston Parish Memorial Garden on St Benet's Way at 10.55am for approximately 10 minutes.

OPC & OCA Annual Christmas Lights Event 2026
Our annual Christmas tree lights switch on will take place on Saturday 28th November. It will take place at the Ouston Community Centre tree to coincide with the OCA Christmas event which will take place 2-4.30pm. We look forward to seeing you there!
